Halloween Card Series 2016  Card #1

     Yay!!!!! Halloween series has started.  Bring out your witches  scarecrows, and zombies and lets get to spooking. 

  So delighted to start my halloween cards for 2016.  The 'Halloween Cuties' stamp set was perfect to begin the series.  All the images were stamp using the black licorice ink from MFTStamps and colored using Copic Markers.  The Pumpkins Die set played a major part in the card background, while a couple stamps from Michaels, the spider web die set from Impression Obsession, and glossy accents added the finishing touches.

Clearly Besotted Friendship Card

     Friendship is the theme for today's card.  I started with a vase purchased at Marshalls.  The colors in the vase is what captured my attention so I knew I wanted to create a background like it.  The Brusho Crystal Colours were used in creating the background.  They are watercolors in powder form.  All you do is add water.  The colors are very vibrant and beautiful.

     The main image was taken from the 'Best Friends' stamp set from Clearly Besotted.  The Jumbo Peek-A-Boo Dye set was used to finish the card with some fun foam and sweet sentiments from the Best Friends stamp set.

Clearly Besotted | Thank You Card 

     For today's Throwback Thursday card I started with Quickutz squeeze tool.  It can be used a embosser or die cutter.  I have mine for many years and still use it.  I used the squeeze tool to cut out a sun for my scene.  The Vegetable Patch and Got Your Back stamp sets from Clearly Besotted were used as the main images on the card.  Some beautiful ink pads from Mama Elephant finished off everything nicely.

Birthday Card | Inpiration Monday #1

     Started a new series called 'Inspiration Monday,' where I will be taken inspiration from things that I like.  It could be a picture, a print or anything.  

    For the first card I took my inspiration from the 45th Anniversary Barbie Doll from Bob Mackie.  I loved the colors and design so here it goes.
