Holiday Card Series | Card #4

The cutest snowmen ever adorns the 'Toasty Greetings' Stamp Set from My Favorite Things.

I started my stamping the largest snowman using the Black Licorice Ink Pad from MFT, on a piece of kraft card stock.   The Prismacolor Colored Pencils were used to color the image .  The background for the card was created using the Flowers and Snowflakes Embossing Folder Set, and another piece of kraft card stock.  Riding Hood Red Ink Pad was used to lightly add some color to the raised area of the embossed card stock.
For my snowy background, I cut a piece of Doodle Bug White Sprinkles Vellum using the MFT Stitched Rounded Rectangles die set.  Another piece of kraft stock was cut for the back of the vellum.    Another piece was cut and colored with the white Primacolor colored pencil to create the snow bank. To finish the card I added a sentiment from the stamp set and a couple of enamel dots.

Holiday Card Series | Card #3

It was a cold day in NOVEMBER when my little penguin went skating.  This is my entry to the Simon Says Monday Challenge.

This cute mini 'Winter Penguin' Stamp Set caught my eye and I had to have it.  The penguin image is so cute I had to use it on one of my holiday card.

I started by covering a piece of white card stock with dazzle versa mark ink.   Then liquid platinum embossing powder from ranger was sprinkled on and heat set.  This was used to cut the sentiment using the Season's Greetings Die from Avery Elle and the circle frame over my seen using the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Circles Die Set.
The penguin image was stamped on a piece of white card stock using the Black Licorice ink form  MFT and colored using Copic Markers.   The scene was created using some clear embossing powder, the Broken China and Stormy Sky distress inks and trees from the Impression Obsession Evergreen Trees Die Set.

Holiday Card Series | Card #2

I love the 'Cozy Christmas' and 'Jingle Greetings' stamp sets from Mama Elephant.  I think the Santa and Ms. Claus images a super cute.

I started by stamping the two images using the MFT Black Licorice on a piece of Canson Water Paper and on Inkadinkadu masking paper.   I then cut the masking images to mask off the images.   Then I used the Broken China Distress Ink to color my background.   A water spray bottler and some droplets so water added some character to the background.   The masking was removed and the images were colored using the Lyra Water Soluble Crayons.  The sentiment was stamped on a piece of vellum and adhered to the front of the card and secured in the back.   The card was completed using some glossy accents and wink of stella clear glitter brush marker.
